Ready Player One
Steven Spielberg and the cast of Ready Player One were at Goya Studios to promote the upcoming film. Per the Columbus Dispatch “the film, opening nationwide on Thursday, stars Tye Sheridan as Wade Owen Watts, a teenager who lives in the Stacks of America, rows of trailer homes that make up slumlike futuristic neighborhoods. To escape reality, he lives much of his life inside a virtual-reality world called Oasis, where he becomes the character Parzival. He falls in love with Samantha (Olivia Cooke), who in the virtual world is Art3mis.”
According the Inquirer.net, “[Spielberg] shows the everyday challenges of staying in the filmmaking business, as well as the inspiration he has with using the imagination and American history that has shaped our political climate today.”
During the media junket actor Philip Zhao explained how involved the director was during production of the film “‘he spends a half an hour before each scene just morphing us into the person we are playing netent casino free spins, so when we film the scene we feel like a totally different person.’”
Beyond directing blockbusters the prolific director shared with the Inquirer.net that “‘today, in my life I do all the videos of my family growing up and what we do every single year is. I have a really great editor, Andy, in our office and he cuts together the whole year in the life of my family, all my children, my grandchildren, and we have little screenings, it’s called the ‘Annual Family Video.’”
