The Act of Disbelief Through Storytelling

The word Goya means “the act of disbelief through storytelling” in Urdu, and Nina Moayer and Joey Jensen, the dynamic team behind Goya Studios, work with each client to turn their creative ideas into reality by telling stories through their design-forward facility.

The campus provides pioneering technologies for branding and storytelling, lighting, sound activations, and signature special effects including advanced film, photography, A/V and sound “magic-making” techniques. Goya’s 15,000 ft of outdoor space provides seamless transitions to the original stages including:

  • Stage A: the large and versatile stage features 4,700 square feet of space, with additional support rooms, dressed by brick walls, bow truss ceilings and polished concrete floors.
  • Stage B: offers 2,200 square feet of shooting space. It is Goya’s classic white cyc studio that features a professionally designed 2 wall cyc with 20 feet to the grid.
  • Stage C: Goya’s largest and most awe-inspiring stage which has 5,600 square feet of space, 1,800 amps of house power and lighting grid, which covers entire ceiling surface area of the room allowing for multiple set build outs, including a full 300 seat theater.

The flexible campus can accommodate guest counts from 50 to 2,000 people and includes VIP lounges, luxury production offices, full-service kitchens, private hair, makeup and wardrobe rooms and much more. The campus can accommodate diverse events including conferences, photo/commercial shoots, green screen filming, premieres, red carpet events, product launches and press junkets.

With all of these unique aspects, along with the studio’s ability to offer full-service equipment rental and production capabilities, Nina and Joey bring any vision to life. Clients including Netflix, Laura Mercier and Puma have put their trust in the Goya team to deliver on innovative, bespoke experiences.
