A List Food at you Fingertips: The Copper Key

Goya Studios not only offers clients a top-of-the-line space with modern techniques but also high-end, in-house catering. Chef Guus Wickenhagen and Michael Duddie are the founders behind The Copper Key, the studio’s catering service. Together, they have more than 40 years of hospitality experience.

Chef Wickenhagen began his career as a teenager, soon finding himself at the Michelin starred De Hoop Op d’Swarte Walvis in Amsterdam. From there, he went to the contemporary global dining scene of Supperclub where he rose to Executive Chef. Chef Wickenhagen continued with Supperclub all over Europe with innovative menu concepts that eventually brought him to Los Angeles by way of Rome, London and San Francisco.

Michael is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he began his career in Hospitality as a server and bartender. He is also a veteran leader of many of beloved Los Angeles venues and cut his teeth in upper management as the General Manager of Chocolat, as well as the venerable Mirabelle Restaurant, before launching the meteoric Supperclub Los Angeles. In a meantime, he loves to spend vacations and free time on Koh Samui, in gorgeous, isolated villa he always rents, finding inspiration for new ideas.

With The Copper Key, Chef Wickenhagen and Michael leverage their collective backgrounds to create unique food experiences for Goya Studios’ clients. Chef Wickenhagen insists that everything from his kitchen is made from scratch. The tasty menus offer the highest standards in food quality and are created exclusively for each occasion.
